Pathways to Excellence: Profiles of Successful Independent Pharmacy Start Ups

This pioneer project documents the patterns of success for emerging community pharmacies highlighting the factors that drive superior performance. RDC pharmacies whose operations began between 2003 and 2007 are invited to participate. By collecting information that describes actual successful business models, including financial metrics and operational factors, we will illustrate how entrepreneurs achieved success in independent pharmacy. The project, to be published in Fall 2009, includes a written report and presentations for pharmacy schools and industry associations.
